Poly-Monde is a student initiative bringing together 21 future engineers from Polytechnique Montréal, whose goal is to establish an economic comparison between the province of Quebec and other regions of the world. Each year for the last 30 years, the members of every Poly-Monde mission have visited 60 companies across three main business sectors. This year, the mission will focus on Agri-food, Transport and mobility & Electrical and electronics. In May 2023, Poly-Monde members will fly to complete the international part of their mission in Central Europe: Austria, Hongary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Upon their return, the students will condense their learning in a mission report.
The agri-food industry is the industrial sector that ensuresfood safety for human consumption.
